Churchill Wild can be summarized as adventure tourism meets Arctic Safari. In fact, it’s listed as one of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World. They pioneered Polar Bear Walking Safaris 25 years ago and have been offering up-close polar bear encounters ever since.
- Book Design
This book design project tells the story of Churchill Wild’s 25 years of adventure on the Hudson Bay coast while promoting their truly unique offering. This was accomplished through a clear, organized content flow and grid layouts that promote easy reading, balanced with a wealth of captivating nature images from award-winning photographers that frequent their lodges.
We’re honoured to say that the book design garnered the attention of the Winnipeg Advertising Association and was the winner for best consumer publication design at their annual Signature Awards event. The Signature Awards celebrate the best ideas and creative minds that Manitoba has to offer. Entries are judged by an unbiased, international panel of senior-working industry professionals.
Churchill Wild has developed a reputation for esteemed culinary prowess. As a result, a recipe chapter with subsections organized by meal type was an added bonus for readers. Copies of this 183 page book were gifted to each employee and are also available for purchase online and through McNally Robinson bookstores.
