Steinbach Family Resource Centre
The Steinbach Family Resource Centre (SFRC) is lead by a team that possesses a rare combination of skillsets; the ability to both dream big and get the community on-board to see their dreams through to fruition. That’s how it all started when the SFRC first unveiled their exciting plans for a Road Safety Play Park that opened in September 2017. In the end, we had the opportunity to design, print and install custom graphics throughout the park – a unique safety education tool for children and the first of its kind in North America.

As a non-profit continually looking for ways to raise awareness and drive donations, we worked with the SFRC to develop various communication pieces including their logo that represents a caring, nurturing environment for a child, and a tagline that represents their mission: “Where Every Family Counts”. The tagline is applied with a bright orange color palette and bold typeface that adds impact to this important statement.
Recently, an icon and stickers for their ‘High Five’ campaign were created in an effort to encourage the public to commit to a monthly giving plan. The stickers now can be found on the backs of many cellphones and wallets in the community, serving a constant reminder of the work SFRC does daily, and the commitment of being a monthly donor.
Thanks to all the others in the community who stepped up to help make the Road Safety Play Park project a reality, and especially to Steinbach Family Resource Centre for their tireless pursuit of improving our community — one child at a time.
